I teach insurance.   In addition to helping people learn insurance terms and regulations, I help people overcome the anxieties and challenges to passing the insurance state test. This means understanding the roadblocks you may have that is stopping you from taking or passing the test.

I will help you gain the confidence and the knowledge you will need to answer the questions clearly and logically.  I will teach you a method that will allow you to answer questions without doubting yourself or being paralyzed by anxiety.

Who are you – and what makes you an expert?

I am an insurance business owner, licensed in the state of Texas and New York, who has a passion for teaching.   This does not make me an expert, but my experience and love for insurance does give me the knowledge, the drive, and the passion to teach others.

If you need help with understanding insurance terms or help with test strategies and overcoming anxieties, then I can help you.  I will explain during the consultation my teaching methods and learn what help you need from me.

What service do you offer?

I offer one-on-one remote tutoring for any state insurance exam (Life and Health, Property and Casualty, and Personal Lines insurance).  I custom designed my classes to focus on solving your particular needs, rather than just teaching a standard way.  You will learn general knowledge insurance terms and concepts and your specific state statutes and regulations, and I will ensure you fully understand before moving on to the next topic.  You will not feel rushed to keep up with a group session, as I will give you all the time you need to fully comprehend the lesson.  During our review of each topic, I will provide you on-the-spot feedback and offer advice on topics that are challenging to you.  This will allow you to formulate ways to help you learn and erase bad habits.  I will provide motivation and encouragement to help you stay focus and stay positive. Before you know it, you will be ready for your exam.  My flexible plan is designed to fit your needs and can be booked for 6 hours, 10, hours, 12 hours, and 16 hours sessions.  
  
In addition, I offer live online insurance prep classes for the Texas Life and Health exam and Texas Property and Casualty exam.  This is a 4-day class (16 hours) from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM (CST) that covers general knowledge insurance terms and Texas statues and regulations.

How much time does it take to become ready to pass the test?

This depends on where you are at with your learning and the amount of time you will put in on your own.

My experience is that if you are looking to retake the test and just need help on certain lesson topics, then you may only need 6-8 hours of one-on-one training.  If you need help on all lessons and with building your confidence level to pass the test, then you may need 12-16 hours of one-on-one training.

I can promise that everyone I’ve ever worked with has built the confidence and knowledge to pass the insurance tests.

What if I fail my test after taking your online class or one-on-one sessions?

The first thing to understand is it is not all loss; you cannot give up.  It happens and the most important thing is to figure out why you did not pass.  Was it a particular topic lesson, was it your anxiety, or was it not having enough time to answer all the questions?

For those who attended the live online class, you will be able to attend a new on-line class for free.  In addition, I will pay for your next test.

For those who attended the one-on-one sessions, I will provide 1 free hour to review areas that you did not do well in, and you will be able to attend one of my live online classes for free.  In addition, I will pay for your next test.

How much does it cost?

My live on-line classes are $249.00.  The class is tailored for those taking the Texas Life and Health exam or the Texas Life and Property exam.  If you are taking another state insurance exam, such as New York or Florida, you can take the on-line class and we can plan to work on your particular state regulations and requirements.  This is a case-by-case situation and can be discussed in the consultation.

My one-on-one sessions are $100.00 per hour. The hours can be tailored to fit your needs.
